Double leaf

This is one of the drawings form where had to use tape and string to make the leafs so that we could press paint them once we finished using varnish of them

again this was suppose to be a cut out section of a plant (bush) however when drawing to from the picture i couldn't really see a lot of the lines and so this is what i ended up with after i used paint to color it in

this is a drawing of a tree from the palm house and again this one was in my own time and same goes with the materials used they are ones i chose myself

This is a picture of a leaf which again was taken from the palm house however this was a drawing i did in my own time as it was a deadline

This is my drawing from when we went to the palm house and before the picture was in color (which i added later) we were told to draw it and then do opposite shading were we shade the white and leave the dark

this drawing was one of the ones which we drew in the palm house and i think the tree was related to a sort of bamboo tree because of how the spikes look and again the coloring was done in my own time and however there wasn't a set task there was just a limit of time on this drawing i think the time limit was like 5 minutes

this is a drawing of i tree i think to be honest i have no clue what it is however when in the palm house i seen this and it look interesting so i took a picture and decided to draw it again in my own time

again this is from the palm house and we were again given a set limit of time and this time the task we were given was to draw something we hadn't drawn yet and so i decided to draw the pole  however i haven't added color because i felt this this was  better without color

again palm house set time and task same as the pole from the palm house however this is one of the entrances to the palm house  and the black smudges are from when i was drawing the picture and didn't notice i had some black chalk on my hand

PALM HOUSE VISIT DRAWING

this page is the first task we were given in the palm house where we had to split the page up in to 4 and the draw a quick sketch of the plant and the time limit given for this was 10 minutes and i didn't get to draw all 4 as you can see so i used the last space for annotation and for my front page which i had made and stuck there

this is my last page and as you can see when trying to use a new method it failed hard because i was trying to make a bronze color and i added to much water and then it event all over the place and it ruined the work and the same goes for the candle i tried the method again and the same thing happened

Still life drawing

This is my still life work using chalk drawing a shell. I first Started by drawing a rough outline of the shell then once i finished that started to add the shading and coloring . What i like about the picture is that on the main part of the shell you can see were the shell goes from  the black to the white and some of the shading on the shell.The limitations of my work is that i didn't put the shell right in front of me when i first started to draw the shell so i didn't get the right shapes and sizes of the shell. The changes that i would have make to my work is that i could have shaded with a bit more care for the top of the shell so it isn't all that grey and it has some highlights in it and to also get the right shape of the shell.
